Inaugural Nomadic Journey: Inspiration from the Taj Mahal Mausoleum

Experienced by Kimatni D. Rawlins

After stopping in New Delhi for my 1st Nomadic Journey toting just a single backpack filled with nuts, granola, reggae music, clothes, conscious reads, and gear, I planned a day trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra for inspiration. Built between 1632 and 1647 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal was dedicated to Jahan's favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth. The mausoleum is fascinating and represents India's most celebrated architectural achievement. So divine and uplifting.

After touring throughout India, make sure to visit the small island of Goa for a few days of relaxation. Life!
