NOMADIC - Fathers and Son Culture Rap

Fathers and Son Culture Rap

Removal of urban societies through gentrification,
poor pushed to the outer banks with no solutions for prospering,
after generations of economic depression.
Sons fighting for their rights -
and daughters' attempts at survival is heard to no avail.
Domestic war has taken innumerable souls.
The evils that men do have left society torn.
Mothers are praying while fathers are slaving
to make ends meet.
When shall the land free us from inequity?
When will light shine freedom and prosperity?
Parents are frightened to let kids run loose
without thoughts of imminent danger.
Again, a father's heart burns profusely
as the warrior within cries.
Cries for better times,
cries for social justice,
cries for solemn leadership in this nation.
Father, stand for solidarity and against provocation,
our day is coming after a history of persecution.
