ON DEATH - A Special Grandmom

A Special Grandmom

Grandmom is the name referred to when speaking of Viola Rawlins.
A remarkable woman who once walked this earth,
but departed peacefully to the Lord's calling.
She was a powerful individual;
and dedicated to an abundance of unconditional love.
Her arms were open to family, friends, or anyone who needed a hug.
Grandmom was the core of her family,
the backbone of a robust foundation.
Almost singlehandedly she raised 28 children and grandkids,
representing three generations.
She filled the air with joy –
I vividly recall the laughter we all once shared.
In God's name, let's rejoice these days after.
Her pain is over, and time has come.
But Grandmom's merriment has just begun.
Divine was her mind, and blessed was her soul;
through the gates of heaven shall Grandmom Viola Rawlins stroll.

As in Ecclesiastes 3:2, 4, 6
To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to mourn and a time to dance.

Let's be strong and stand tall on our feet,
now we know our Grandmom will never meet defeat.
